Blackhawk Brigade Senior Trombone
FRENCH LICK, Ind. – The Springs Valley Trombone Section has four members this year. They return the veteran lineup of Tommy L., Landon P., Chris G., and Ryan W. This group of fine, good-looking gentle men has helped lead the Brigade all season long.
I, Tommy , lead the bones (short for trombones). I have been a trombone for the Brigade for six seasons. I am also a member of the Valley football team. I hope the members of my section and the group have benefited from my leadership, hard work and dedication I have exhibited throughout the season and my years in band.
Sophomore Landon is the next trombone in line this year. Price brings his best to practice every day and it shows on a Saturday. He has leadership skills that are hard to find in young adults his age. He has matured into a vital part of the Brigade and will be for years to come.
The next bone is Freshman Chris. Chris has been a part of the Brigade for three seasons. He has become an important factor to the sound of the Brigade this season. He shows great potential and will help the Brigade greatly in the years to come.
The last member of the bone heads is Freshman Ryan. Ryan is in his second season with the Brigade. Warren brings a unique style to practice and performances. He works hard and stays focus on the task at hand. He shows work ethics that will help him achieve anything he wants in life.
Tommy would like to think the underclassmen bone heads for everything they have done the past few years. They have helped the Brigade become successful and they will make great leaders and even better gentlemen in life someday. |
