Blackhawk Brigade Freshman Pit Member
FRENCH LICK, Ind. – The Blackhawk Brigade has had an exciting year. For the first time we added a recorded voice to our theme of Lasting Impressions. Each band member submitted a name to honor as someone who has left a lasting impression on our lives.
Our pit seniors are Ross and Kayla. They serve as our inspiration and have left their own lasting impression on us. The pit members are a hard working group that likes to have fun. We joke around but also take what we do seriously when it is time to get down to business. We practice long hard hours and in every type of weather in order to perfect our performance. We strive to be the best no matter what it takes!
Mr. Aylsworth stresses that he wants us to improve and get better instead of focusing on the awards, but we had an undefeated marching season this year and it feels good to be recognized for our hard work and dedication.
Pit members are Ross M., Kayla S., Curtis C., Jeff B., Logan H., Patsy H., Brittany H., Harley P., Cody B., Sam R., Mitch N., Harrison B., and Elizabeth O.. Kyra M,, who marches flute, also has a part in the pit.
We would like to give a special thanks to Luke Aylsworth, John Alysworth, Dee Skaggs, our pit staff Whitney Dedrick, the many other staff members, volunteers, bus drivers, parents, family and our fans that have done an awesome job encouraging us and working so hard to keep us moving forward. |
