Welcome to Blackhawk Brigade.com. The Blackhawk Brigade is a 30-time ISSMA State Finalist, four time ISSMA State Champion (1977, 2010, 2016, and 2017), eight time ISSMA State Runner-Up (1978, 1992, 2007, 2012, 2013, 2014, 2015, and 2018) and a BOA Grand Nationals Semi-finalist (2009). In 2015, the Springs Valley Percussion Ensemble won the Tristate PSCA Championship. In 2014, the ensemble was awarded the IPA PSCA State Championship Runner-Up. In 2018, the Springs Valley Band Program was an ISSMA All-Music Award Recipient. In addition, the band program was recently designated as one of “The Best Communities for Music Education” by the NAMM Foundation. In 2021, the Springs Valley Winter Winds won the IPA Winds Scholastic A State Championship.
