Students need to make sure you complete and turn in your forms this summer.Members of the 7th Period Band class will perform at the 2017 SV Graduation Ceremony on Saturday May 20th, 2017. Call time is 6:15 p.m. and dress is all black concert attire.
Congrats to Payton Buffington! She was awarded the Winners Drink Milk $1,000 scholarship. The scholarship is awarded to each of the four ISSMA State Marching Band Champions each year at state finals. Payton was announced the winner Friday at senior awards night.  The SV Jr. High Band placed 3rd out of 11 bands at the Holiday World Music Festival on May 13th. The students performed two pieces and spent the day having fun in the park.
 The HS Concert Band won 1st Place at the Music in the Parks Festival at Kings Island on Saturday May 6th, 2017. The band also won Best Overall Concert Band.
